I just lost my grandma 3 weeks ago…she’s been my best friend my whole life. When my friends were partying through our twenties I was hanging out with my grandma playing dice and watching old-time movies. She was the best person I’ve ever known. I may look like her but I hope I can be even a small bit of everything good that she was. ❤ thank you for this song.

Gosh I wish my grandma was still alive. She past away in 2016 of cancer. She was my go to person if I don't want my mom to know lol but she always told my mom everything. She was a very great Christian and someone I looked up too. God I miss her

The second I heard "different blood never stopped you, " I lost it. I'm adopted, but the second my Granny met my brother and me, we were hers, and she was ours. She's been gone since November 2009, but she was my best friend. Some days, it feels like she never left us... others, it feels like an eternity.

I felt this way about my grandma and how she was my best friend. She helped me through things I never thought I could ever get through. It hurt my soul when she passed away in 2002. I met my mother-n-law in 2019 and felt my grandma all over again. My mother-n-law loved me as if she birthed me herself. Since day 1, she made me feel at home and loved beyond measures. I lost my mother-n-law in 2021. I helped my grandmother and my mother-n-law more than ever until they transitioned, and it was truly an honor that I had the pleasure to do those things for them in love ❤️
