I lost my husband to cancer. From diagnosis to funeral was barely 5 months; he and I had just begun working out how to discuss daddy's cancer with our 11 year old son. There was so little time, then such a big hole in our lives. I became a widow at 39 and haven't remarried. It's been some years now and this song had me in tears over my husband.

I was in the children's hospital almost yearly growing up. When I had a surgery at 11, I ended up going to the cancer ward to find kids to play with. I ended up meeting Kevin who was my best friend while I was there. When they told me I was being released I went to go tell him and get his information so we could still talk. I ended up walking up to his parents crying and telling me "Thank you for making him happy in his last days.". It's been almost 8 years and I still think about him and bawl my eyes out.
It took me like 30 minutes to write this, I can't stop crying

I lost my mom when I was 5. Too young to have any memories of her. She sounds really great and she looks so beautiful in photos. I'll love her forever. She was making wedding cards when she suddenly passed out in the middle of the night and she died. She got pulmonary embolism. One day she was there then when we woke up she was gone. I miss her so much and Im 21 now. 😢

I was reminded of my grandpa who passed away in 2020 after watching this video. I miss him so much and it feels empty in my home without him. I miss the evenings we spent together, having conversations over a cup of tea. We used to talk about day-to-day life, his youth, and politics. He was like my best friend. I miss him a lot.
