I live in Bowling Green but I have to say Mayfield was hit worse.. It's bad for both communities and people need to stay strong and try to make the best out of a bad situation.

This young man did such a wonderful job! Reporting what he could with respect and courtesy towards the people and the place he calls home. Thank you for being a good human! I truly hope your dreams and the career you’re studying and working towards comes true within your future. We’re all praying with you!!!

It’s crazy that I ate at Que Buenos on that strip and had a good conversation with some of the workers earlier yesterday before the tornado, and now they’re completely without jobs. So sad. If you can spare any resources to help this community of Bowling Green it would be appreciated.

I wish that I could say words to lessen the pain of the losses which these states are now dealing with - I just want to be a comfort to those hurt by this. Any of you would be welcome in my home; I don’t care what your politics are, who you do or don’t pray to; you are my fellow Americans and you are welcome in my house and at my table. You are human and I care what happens to you.

Praying that everyone receives everything that they need to recover from this disastrous storm. Condolences to the families who had relatives lost. Best wishes for a speedy recovery for survivors and to those who fled and presently have no home to return to. 🙏🏽

The worst tornado I’ve experienced was an EF2 that blew my roof off. This was way worse than I imagined. The “Kentucky Joplin event” I like to call it.
Stay safe!

I grew up in Missouri and I've been fortunate that we were never in the direct path of a tornado. If we ever got the warning or especially if we heard the sirens we would always go to the basement and a few times it was so scary we turned over a couch and got underneath it. You have to take tornado warnings seriously because of the horrific destructive power and possible loss of life. Sending my heartfelt thoughts for those who've been affected 💖💖

Sooo horrible! Frightening for these folks. When safe, hopefully state representative(s) & state senators will visit & offer assistance to these stricken folks.
