I don't know why but I feel like that block M is what I needed as it is its own product doing so many different stuff. I'm new to this. just got it but already see this will work. Thanks to the team for keep creating products for us out of the norm. <3

with the old seaboard’s you couldn’t play interval notes within a semi tone of each other. has this been fixed?

This will be very good, especially in a practical sense, to have a fully MPE enabled device that just sits on the desk to use with Ableton Live.

While the video does cover "What's new", it's not really an accurate title. The vast majority of the video is just general seaboard information that would also apply to the old model.

Can the seaboard be used like a normal keyboard/piano or will it sound different?

Do you recommend someone who does not know about producing music or music theory?
Are there any academy or tutorial lessons out there?
Is that available on any Europen market to buy instead of internet shopping?

that chaning modes feature is only for seaboard M? or is it a updated feature that previous seaboards support as well?

Is it going to be compatible with the old model of blocks, or do I have to buy everything again?"

With two Seaboard Block M's connected to each other - how does sliding work? Device is missing 25th C key, so I guess that sliding finger over to another unit will result in one note slide?

Is the full song available, it sounded really good.

The only difference is the added TRS MIDI OUT jack. The rest of this video is previous features and software changes.

Are the settings you apply in roli studio carried over when using it with an iOS device?

I wish it had a PLAY button to drive external synth sequencer via MIDI instead of using a PC software…

Needs Root Note & Scale options directly from dashboard instead of EXTRA Studio Plugin

Nothing new or ground breakingly new that would warrant the price bump.

It needs to have speakers and a way to feed sounds on the go… I want something like this to take to the park and just play! But it seems like it's not that straightforward. You have to use highly complicated software—the kind of thing architects love to dive into. But me? I’m not wired like that at all. I’m more intuitive and want to find sounds while I play, without having to go through some labyrinth of software on an iPad.

I really want to stay screen-free. I like knobs to turn, buttons to press, and maybe a touchscreen with a tactile feel—but I don’t want to depend on Google and Apple devices just to make music. It defeats the whole purpose of trying to escape smartphones, notifications, and the constant social media distractions. But I have to admit, I love how the keys work. I can't see any other brand being as intuitive or interesting when it comes to actually playing it.

That said, the setup alone already gives me a headache—kind of like Logic Pro did. Honestly, I hate feeling overwhelmed by software just to make music. Not all of us are math geniuses like this guy. But I’ve got to give him credit: his music is amazing, really well-made. No surprise, considering he’s an architect—his music is like a soundscape of cool buildings! I just don’t think I’m cut out for this level of complexity, but thanks for sharing. Who knows, maybe one day I’ll find the patience.

It won't ship until March if you order it now. In the meantime, I think I'll buy something else.
