The BEST Vocation!? Magick Archer Build Guide + Best Gear & Where to Find it // Dragon's Dogma 2

Yo guys, today we are going over my favorite Vocation, Magick Archer. I played this in DD1 and love it still in DD2. Hope you guys enjoy the build guide and the breakdown! Cheers.

If you didn’t know. When you use the warfarer it ranks up all other vocations you have unlocked just at a slower rate

A tip for enhancing your gear, even though the Magick Archer needs Magick on it's weapons, the difference between Elven and Dwarven for Magick isn't that much but the Knockdown difference is MASSIVE! As you know, you do a lot more damage when an enemy is knocked down, way more than the 5% or so difference between going all Elven vs all Dwarven. As such it is actually better to use Dwarven instead as you'll not only do more damage but you'll stagger foes more often to and of course that leads to the knocked down state.

As for armour enhancements, it's better to again go for Dwarven because the difference between all the smithing styles for the defensive stats is negligible but the Dwarven gains a ton of knockdown resist while only being a little behind on Magick Defense if you went with Elven for example.

Now the only downside to Dwarven is getting access to it and the weight increase. There are two quests that give you access to this smithing style, you can get it as early as Bakbattahl if you grab the right quest and the weight can be negated by visiting a certain character and using a certain resource after maxing out the 3 enhancement slots.

Love your builds bro. If you get the chance hope you make one for all vocations cause like I said great work and idk about anyone else but I for one could definitely use the help in vocations department especially skills and augments lol

Something else Recovery arrow doesn’t tell you it is can damage undead type enemies, if you can aim it correctly and hit a lich or zombie you can do massive damage to them

I got magik archer and warfarer same time at like level 20 something im level 67 now and still havent got blazefang arrow my loadout has been frosthunter bolt skullsplitter and flamefang for a long time raked up all skills almost but still cant get blazefang what am i doin wrong.

The end game vendor will only enhance my equipment, vocations, and skills. I don't see an option to buy anything, does she only sell at a certain point in the game? I'm in New Game + right now

I ran CC instead of damage. The ice skills with the ice bow from the arbor (elven city) freezes everything allowing for your team to safely beat everything down. The elven armor for magick archer sold by the vendor in the arbor is the second best armor stats wise with the best armor being the end game armor sold by the dragonforged.
