Can confirm you can get this vocation as early as at least level 6 I believe. I was level 7 but that's because an ogre decided to commit suicide. Tips, get portcrystal from griffins nest in misty swamp. Get ferrystone from chest above pawn guild in vermond, get ferrystone from seeker token 1st teir reward (only need one token). When getting the portcrystal from the griffins nest make sure its night. Harpy's will be less likely to spawn. Illegally cross the board once you have all the materials. Make the long run through the desert. Advise doing it at night with no lantern. 2 reasons, no harpys and enemies will lose you faster in the darkness. Take the first rope carrage to the middle of the desert. From there, go down the map toward the Drabnirs Grotto. Avoid succubus at all possible (probably won't the first couple tries). Praise the sun before entering the cave and get lucky af when it comes to the part of breaking the wall. Non mages can simply smack the wall. Mages might want to destroy the water fall a top the hole first using their fire spell. Once you make it out of the cave. Give the old man his flowers and take him home. Go straight to the camp and place a portcrystal. Rest. Return to his house. Accept the quest. Walk outside and pick him up. Use ferrystone to travel to volcanic camp. Take him to the spring. I just spent the last 3 and a half hours trying to accomplish this feat. With perseverance I made it through with no health remaining but I am now a level 7 Magick Archer.

Also this dwarf quest is needed for the sacred arbor quest where you have to find a special soil to restore the tree

There is a way to to bathall through the river at the checkpoint city, just go over the bridge and to the right and follow the river then through the caves and down the cliff. Be aware of the dragon, dont mess with it. The enemies are much harder there so be prepared.

HOLD UP! You can enter the 2nd region illegally. There is a oxcart that goes through the gate once the gate opens you run through and run for your life as they will try to kill you till you get out of the little town on the other side. there is a steam achievement for doing it this way as well called "I'm in" if you do it legally well as far as right now goes where you cant restart a new game sadly you may never get this achievement unless they change that.

You can also get into bahtal by going through the saurian cave at checkpoint rest town by following the stream under the bridge

28 hours in, level 28, maxed my ranger vocation, haven't even wanted to go to the desert area yet lol....man I don't want to have to go all the way south where I haven't even started to yet....

NGL I found a hidden path that leads into that section of the map. If you follow the river just outside the checkpoint town you can sneak into the second area of the map.

Youre not supposed to walk with him. You pick him up and carry him for his escorts

You can also go through on either side. I've done all three and still not got far enough to unlock the border.

The bridge to get over that river was broken how do you get around it

I got past the gate border by just waiting for a wagon to go through and then I booked it lol they chased me for a little bit but they stopped

I did not get the Magic archer special ability after i unlocked the Vocation. I talked to her multiple times but nothing. I talked with her at her house and she gave me a quest to escort her to the desert town but after that still nothing. Any clues to why?

You can pick him up and run with him to make it quicker.
