If you’re in a waiting season, watch this.

When we find ourselves waiting for something, it can feel like there’s not much we can do in the mean time.

…waiting for an answered prayer
…waiting for a promise from God to be fulfilled
…waiting for our situation to change
…waiting for our next step to become clear

We like things to be organized and tidy, but they rarely ever are. And the pain you feel while you wait is something that can make waiting even more excruciating.

I went through 25 years of steep involvement in the new age/occult, experiencing lots of fear and sadness for most of my life...I could never feel free no matter what I did of transformation and healing. I came to Christ 5 years ago and within the last 4 years I have been through the hardest season of my life... worse than anything I had ever experienced while in the occult. I believe however that on this side of the cross, God is taking me through true healing and renewal...a true process of restoration and refinement. I remember he told me early on in my faith that he was going to purify me. Wow, I didn’t realize what that would mean... refinement by fire! Yes there has been intense spiritual warfare since coming out of the enemy’s camp as the enemy doesn’t give up so easily, but whatever process of purification that I am in is the real deal. God is allowing this pained process of going through the muck that I may know who my God is...that I may come to trust him, depend on him, surrender to him and lean only on him... that he may get the glory for being the one true God. The gift of this hard season is that I have seen that Gods good, holy, loving, and faithful character can be trusted. And for that He gets my praise through process and through promise...through wilderness and through wonderment. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Pain is just temporal, it's just a season. Jesus is close to the broken and contrite spirit. Waiting on Him is the best antidote to mend our pain through His Word- Bible! Pain is a blessing in disguise to come into His very presence than running to the temporal resources that can trigger the pain. God cares for us holistically, that's why He is in a careful process of our destiny. ♥️
