my grandpa passed away almost a month ago. this song came on the next day when it was pouring rain and i saw a double rainbow. As the song got louder the rainbow got brighter. I believe it was him telling me he’s okay. He was a gay man and a painter and knew how to mix any color. He is the rainbow, the color, the light, the wind, the music, we become everything when we leave our human self. life is magic. Believe in the magic. I love you all ❤️

When the "know it's for the better" starts i go through stages of grief and then break down. I think of my life, of my resilience, of my anger, how i desperately cling to this life that only hurts and hurts and hurts. I imagine myself clutching on to my chest in a fetal position, begging myself to stay. And i always do. Telling myself it's for the better, i'm doing better, i will feel better, it will end, the sun will rise again, i am alive, i am alive. But there's a resignation to it, every fall breaks me, i will never be whole again, someday i will run out of things to ruin inside me, that will be the end, but for now i will try again. And it hurts. Hope hurts.
