i am a Sabian guy and ive loved the a custom hi hats, and i liked the fact that mastersounds let air out quicker but i didnt like the crinkled edges. it made the edges sound too sharp, but these have the holes which has the same effect of the air but theres no crinkled edges which is great! so it
lets air out fast without that really annoying sharp sound mastersounds give off

I have a broken 18" A Custom crash, taken down to 12" on top, with an A Custom 14" Projection top hat on bottom. It's actually really nice!

I have an old 13" pair of these, they were originally intended to be disco high hats, but I love using them for punk. They are very quick, tight and, expressive hats. They work great for accents between rolls. They cut great open and closed with a loud band.

One question if I may: are the 12" Quick Beats still in production. I'm referring to the model which Dennis Chambers used with John Scofield in the Serious Moves and In the Pocket videos. Thank you!
