I'm using the stereo pair of HomePod Minis in my office on my Mac mini running 11.3 beta. It's amazing. Sounds great. Wish they would fix the pause delay though. But when hooking to Apple TV app, I swear it sounds like spatial audio when using that app. You will really enjoy the stereo pair when 11.3 is released for all.

I live in a cottage. I was looking to get at least one HomePod for the kitchen, in addition to the stereo-paired HomePods in my living room. When the HomePod minis became available, I bought one for my kitchen, and it sounded really good; doesn't distort, when the volume is turned up. Most of all, syncing music with the HomePods got to be awesome. I then bought another mini for my bedroom, and it's great to sync with all of them, and then walk from one room through another and to the other side and having musical bliss throughout. Since you setup HomePod Minis in different rooms and we are all stuck in our homes it would be great if we could setup location based reminders for individual rooms.

The OG HomePod was in my bedroom but was just too loud so I have it as my AppleTv speaker and it’s awesome. Loved that so much I bought a second one just for that. The mini is perfect for my room. I want a second one but my family is likely to break it so I have to figure that out first lol

My wife loves listening to rain sounds that is preloaded in the HomePod. We listen to it every night.if you didn’t know the HomePod has 7 (I believe) of thee looped sounds.

Super duper video. Excellent point about using it almost daily and thus it fills a need that exists. Anyone else have both Homepod orig. and Homepod mini and can't get Homepod orig. to play to mini when you "play music everywhere"?

I got two and paired them with my Apple TV. And they are very buggy. If I told them to play music the tv also starts. The volume control is a mess. It doesn’t work great. Sometimes the remote volume buttons control the tv sound volume but the sound is played from the stereo HomePod minis. Sometimes it works. Sometimes the volume buttons of my iPhone control the speakers, sometimes the buttons control the iPhone volume. There ist no consistency.

I love these but I need AirPlay to be enhanced. I’m trying to run the TV sound to my HomePod Mini(s) and while it does work it breaks really easily as well.

The good news are that with MacOs Big Sur 11.3, it will finally be possible to use a pair of Mini in stereo on a Mac ! I just wish that Apple will improve Siri one of these days ;-(

Thanks for this great video. Have personally opted for the minis. The original HomePod had simply, in my wife and my option too much base. To the point of overpowering the melody.

I would love to purchase one of these for my homekit setup. Will I see a noticeable improvement in Siri hearing me over my iPhone 10? I feel like every time I ask Siri to turn my lights on, she either doesn't hear me or doesn't understand what I meant.
