Toe breakes are really so important ? It's easy to replace it by a button on your joystick, and it's far better to have a very precise and sturdy rudder pedals w/o toe brakes than a cheap plastic one with it. Toe brakes are just used few seconds on the ground, but the rudder pedals during hours in flight... What is the most important ?

Literally just ordered these this morning from xplane and already are being shipped. Replacing my plastic thrustmasters which work really well but a bit noisy and I feel like I am walking in snowshoes when in combat

Was kind of shocked when I saw the pricetag, but judging from the build quality (barely any plastic), I kinda can understand now :)

Hello Thomas. Thanks once again as usual for an informative and featured video. I was waiting for a nice preview of these. Sadly they are missing toe brakes, so limited with aircraft use, even of such high quality.

I am thinking more in the line of helicopter torque pedals, as this along with tail draggers is my prime choice of flying. The harder the better. So that's my main reason to buy them, precision in a helicopter. And as is with my country, 2+ months to get them. Many of my exports land in 5 to 10 days, all tracked if using a postal and not a courier service, then the absolute slack customs and excise, and from the International post office at our OR Thambo airport to my local post office, I live 5KM's from OR Thambo, takes anything from a month and a half onwards.

Thanks for this once again.

Thanks for this video Thomas. The virtual toe brake concept seems flawed to me, because the transition from toe brakes to rudder pedals during takeoff needs to be a gradual one, as rudder authority increases with airspeed.

The no toe breaks are unfortunate but I mostly just play space sims so a super precise yaw that isnt a slide style might make this a worthwhile buy for me. Think I may pick these up in the coming weeks.

Rudders without toe brakes? That's about half the reason why you want rudder pedals.

Good video Thomas. Clear and concise. Love your accent when you speak English!

Lack of Toe Brakes is a deal breaker for me, however the quality of their products seems first rate, I recently replaced my joystick (X52) with a VKB Gladiator. This thing is built like a T52 tank and very nice to use. So if they make pedals with toe
brakes I will certainly buy them.

Hi Thomas,
The pedals comes with virtual toe brakes as seen in the description on the requirements tab on the product page of x-plane.org.
Don't know how it works though :)
Great video!

So nice and yet no toe-brakes?! Very unfortunate... If the pedals could be replaced with a set that would be consistent with toe-brake applications, how hard would it be to add the function to these?

I probably could figure out something if I took my old Saitek pedals apart and retrofitted the toe brake function and pedals to this unit. Even large helicopters with wheels would be difficult to control.

Still, the sales must suffer because without toe brakes on the p[pedals, the function has to be assigned to a different component such as the joystick slider. That would be very unnatural and awkward IMO.

I have in long time wondered about, if you're from Denmark. Now i know, haha... I'm from Denmark too! :)
Does those rudders feel like glider-rudders and cub-rudders? :)

I thought about getting these for my secondary rig which runs Linux since I already have a set of Thrustmaster TPR pendular pedals for main XP rig and I doubt the TPR pedals could be beaten by these but they still look really nice and especially strong so I will keep these in mind for the Linux rig.

Pedals like this type should really be reviewed with a helicopter sim - we are the real purchasers of these as they are a helicopter pedal design - I really need to know how it works in a suitable helo sim holding in a hover where pedal input is constant and critical to flight. I am not really interested in how a Cessna briefly uses them. You can land a plane without any pedals at all except the strongest winds if you need to but try flying in a helicopter on even a calm day without them.

I would buy these, but the lack of actual differential braking (toe brakes) axis's makes them a no-go for MSFS. Virtual is not good enough to warrant the price tag.

Why does this product connect via an ethernet cable? What is that "black box" doing?
