4:57... you have to measure center to center axis of both pedals for a real comparison. Because the TM pedal is more big !

Thanks for the overview/impressions. Just ordered. I can't seem to find the Saitek pedals anywhere, so these Thrustmasters are kind of my only choice apart from another set of CH Pedals. Been using my current CH Pro Pedals for over 12 years and they still work, however the sliding is pretty rough because the little plastic rollers and their plastic tracks are worn out. The internal cabling is also a mess from all the times I've had to open up and clean them.

Never had any problems with the spacing, didn't even think about it until I saw it mentioned online.I think wearing just socks works better with these cheaper pedals due to their small size, plastic construction and low tension springs.

Switched from CH pedals to thrustmaster and from the technical, ergonomics pov the T-Flights win hands down. Smoother, the foot rests are actually bigger and allow for more foot positions (no raised bevel frame), love that you can take off the heel-rests for more comfortable sitting, less money. Win.

I got the TM pedals because only they and the CH pedals will fit inside my Obutto Ozone cockpit. I'm very happy with my TM set. Far smoother than the CH pedals. I can put small corrections through these pedals that I could never do with the CH ones. And with that price, I may just buy another set as backup just in case because the pedals need to fit inside first. Couldn't go back to the CH ones now after just a few flights with these.

I would definitely recommend using with socks. This increases life, frame, and durability. It's also more comfortable. : )

I know this vid is now quite old, but curious what your fav rudder currently is for simming if you still play. With MS FS2020 on the horizon, I am trying to locate a descent pair that won't break the bank. Thanks!

These look good. Think the distance apart is not an issue for me, looks like the real thing (which is what I want).

I'm looking for some pedals to practice helicopter anti-torque to complement real training lessons. These could be the ones. For the price seem a good middle ground, less expensive than the Saitek pro but should do the job.

One thing, these have a 'centre' detent? Can you remove it? Real pedals on helis don't have this and are really smooth in any position.

Insightful review, thanks! I use the T.Flight HOTAS X stick, but I'll be considering some "proper" rudder pedals in the future. I think the securing points you mentioned would work well, given that MOST (not all, due to the sliding motion) of the loading on the base would be almost straight down.

I've just begun glider (sailplane) flying in real life and those pedals look as close as the ones in a real ASK 21 glider.

You've had these for about a year and a half now. My CH pedals crapped out and are pretty much unusable so I'm thinking about buying another set of CH pedals or these. What do you think?

Is that rubber strips on the toe brake top? Could get shiny and slip your foot somewhat

I actually prefer the feel of the Saitek Flight pedal pros.

It says on Amazon that these work with only PS4/PC, but the Thrustmaster website says it works with Xbox too... does it work with Xbox?

Dude, when you measure the separation of the pedals you should not measure the gap between them. This has very little meaning. Measure from the centerline of each pedal. I will bet the CH and TM measurements will be very similar when measured this way. The TM pedals are wider and thus the gap is narrow. Another way to measure more accurately would be to measure from the left side of the left pedal to the left side of the right pedal. This will likely be the same measurement as centerline to centerline.

I bought a set of these Pedals and after a few hours of use they lost the smoothness of movement on the rails. By the time I put in enough force to move the pedals left or right they jerk about an inch. Moving in tiny increments is impossible. I'm going to use the electronics from these pedals to build a home made set.

I just bought these and they work perfectly in P3D and XPlane 10

I just got my TFRPs today, and after a few hours with them in Arma 3 helicopters I kind of like them. They're better than my old pedals.

The indicator is pointless, because you never look down there let alone see it. I would rather they left that out and put the money into making the pedals out of heavier material. Other than that they're decent enough.

Some people say they're too close together, but I don't have any problem with that. The pedals themselves are nice an wide so you put your feet to the outside of them and still have plenty of purchase.

Maybe they could have made the angle of the pedals adjustable, because the toe brakes would be a little hard to use if your chair is lower.

For the price(I paid $64.99 at B&H including shipping) they're a pretty good value.

Centre to centre would be a better measurement
