Their path for the importer is actually added to blender. I just found out today, since 2.83.17 it has been added. So default importer is as fast as their patched one

Amazing. How did you add the punch effects at the beginning (final output) of the video? Was this grease pencil and go you have a tutorial for this 🙂

Awesome tut man! Yesterday I saw one by rokoko itself, which was a lot shorter.
There is also this great video showing a different approach using empties, that way you can animate live on top of the animation. But this method is also great

Hello, does the Rokoko retargeting add-on work with Auto Rig Pro as well? Or do you stick with stick with Auto Rig Pro retargeting for Auto Rig Pro characters?

I switched to IK on feet, fix slippage, but it is impossible to bake it. There is still movement in the engine like FK. How to bake from IK to FK. Is it possible?

I do notced, perhaps because i use the old version of Animation Layers. I need to keyframe way more to really do touch up works. Otherwise the new pose will overrule for the complete animation. It looks like when doing adjustments for say interfering limbs, you need to add a keyframe before and after your fix, then do the fixing in between those 2. Otherwise that fixed pose will run through the complete animation.
I was testing thsi with some mocap from Mixamo, the character was going wacko when doing a dance, but the fix i did was over the complete animation. When i tried to zero out the rotation and locations, it also resets the base layer somehow. not sure that is in this new version as well. Its kinda weird actually.

You know what would be nice! if we could save the bone list from the target, so we could reuse that list for other models which use the same rig. That way a user would not have to redo that manual correction. Would be nice if they could add a "Save Preset" enum menu. I think ill addon that in a comment on their video. who knows they catch it and think about it.

Any advice for dealing with mocap fingers? My Rokoko animations have been having issues with the hands and shoulders, presumably because they aren't exactly lined up. But I'm not sure
