I went opening wknd to both.
First was Shawshank as it was the can't miss movie. Lots of hype and worth it. The next day I saw Pulp Fiction. I don't want to choose which was best as they both are❤

Fun fact; Tarantino was running out of money before the movie could rap .
Tarantino mention the fact that’s so the scenes would have to be dropped because of a lack of money.
Tarantino had paid Bruce Willis with a check when he joined the movie. Willis had his check in his pocket. He then tore it up and now there was money to finish the movie.

FUN FACT: The song 'Son of a Preacher Man' was written with Aretha Franklin in mind, and originally offered to her. She initially turned it down. Franklin's father was the Reverend C.L. Franklin, a legendary preacher; and Aretha had a brother, Cecil. She later recorded it, after Dusty Springfield had a hit with it.

I remember being back in the states, visiting my sister, we go to the theater. We watched Forrest Gump. What a 'feel good' movie! As we walk down the theater hallway to leave, my sister says, "hey, this is about to start!", we both just slide into the door and find seats... WOW. From one memorable film, to an unforgettable one.
