seeing ingo in Pokemon Legends Arceus is like "Haha the funny train guy is to "the funny train guy....is here" and you get depressed about it

When I first saw him I went, “OH, he must be that subway guy’s ancestor.” And then I saw his name, the fact that he had no memory, and that he also came from the portal above the region.
“Oh…oh, no.”

Me: I wonder how the fandom is doing?

*Walks into the Battle Subway to see several people either crying, comforting Emmet or loading a shotgun.*

Emmet being dead in the last frame perfectly embodies the angst the community has now lol

It tears my heart appart that the Subway brothers are also appart and while Ingo lost his memory Emmet is probably crying himself to sleep at night until he magically finds his brother again which sadly might not happen due to some random goat stuck in a fancy yellow fence who's really bad at its job

Player reactions to Ingo when he was first introduced: Oh, neat, so this subway place is the new battle tower setup and these subway bosses are the new battle tower tycoons. I'll probably immediately forget about them.
Player reactions to Ingo in Legends Arceus: PUT THE TRAIN MAN BACK, ARCEUS! MY HEART HURTS!

I haven't played Arceus but the first time I saw a picture of him I thought he was the ancestor of the subway bosses. Then I took a second look at the picture and went, "wait a minute". I realized that coat was way too modern to fit in Hisui. The realization of what that meant hit me like a train.

Fans: we wan darker stuff in Pokémon!
Gamefreak: "Fine." *splits the twins apart.*
The entire fandom: *intense sobbing and screaming*

When he is talking about his chandelure, at the cave, it broke my heart. He knows that something is missing, but not what.

Emmet is either
1: crying
Or
2: now has full control of the subway rules and is going apeshit while hes at it. Like fighting a 9 year old with a full set of lv.100 pokemon and cussing at the child when they loose.
3:both

As soon as I saw Ingo, I was like "ARCEUS!!! BRING THIS MAN BACK TO HIS ORIGINAL TIMELINE AND BROTHER!!"

Arceus: "I needst to summoneth a hero to end the foul plan of Volo. The Trainers in the distant future ought to do the job posthaste. Possibly the Champion. Lettest me beginneth the ritual."

[Spooky godly ritual]

[Ingo just suddenly drops in front of Arceus]

Arceus: "F*cketh."

I saw Ingo and I was like "wait a minute, isn't he one of the subway guys? This must be his ancestor."
And then nope, he is very much the Subway Boss Ingo.

"Knowing gamefreak they will probably forget about this storyline"
It hurts how true this is, Looker was done really dirty

I really love the idea of the protagonist literally fan-girling over a person who doesn’t even know who he is. :’)

I didn’t know about Ingo at first but then I was like, “hey, I like this dude’s design” and then I searched him up and now here I am, part of the Submas fandom. Also in love with Emmet as well as Ingo now.

I love this art style so much. I also love that Zorua transformed into an Emmet with torn clothes like Ingo as if she just told it to “Transform into this guy, but with white clothes.”

Man that’s actually sad that a lot of people didn’t recognize him, it was so hype to see first: a guy that looks like ingo’s an ester, but really exact, to second: oh my god that’s actually him
