As someone Who has suffered depression I get why in the dancing scene they all of suden decided to make the son sad. It happened to me a lot. It’s Just the moment una which you realize you are having great time, but it Just feels empty, or you compare that to everything you are going through and it turns to be a bit of a melancholic moment. It’s weird but it actually happens a lot

The Father was one of my favourites from 2020 so I was really looking forward to The Son but now I have no idea what to think. I'm gonna try my best to go into this one with an open mind

The play is very famous in Europe and we definitely disagree with the hate for the ending, obviously, Americans do not got it, it's a brilliant one. For the rest, I have to check how they adapted it.

When I was at my most depressed, I didn’t really cry around people. I just had a vacant face and monotone voice. I just didn’t feel anything other than tiredness. Crying felt like a relief at points. Hearing that the kid is just in a constant state of almost crying is… interesting.

Oh! And I heard about the ending. It sounds like Mommy did a similar thing but better.

I’m glad the movie kind of sucks though because I’ve been actively rooting against Hugh Jackman because I find him to be a highly overrated actor. 😂

I liked "the Father" because it focused on the father who has dementia. I disliked "the Son" because it was supposed to be about the son who has depression, and yet, the movie focused more on the father with the son's character being a bit fake.
