Dave Weckl YAMAHA 30th Anniversary 14' Snare Drum

Yes it's brass and not aluminium....I had aluminium on my mind that day.

This was released a week ago on the Patreon but I am true to my word I keep the posting the reviews on Youtube because I love you guys.

We finally get the 14 x 5 brass single beaded Dave Weckl 30th Anniversary snare out for a bit of a hit and it's pretty damn good.....no lugs broke this time due to the newer design.

There is also a book that is included in the box celebrating Dave's career etc and it's pretty cool but was a real handful out of the packet due to my sweaty hands.

Dave Weckl always had an ear for great unique sound in his drums and tuning range which I totally dig, and this snare drum is sweet and thanks for doing a video on it bro ! Still have yet to crank out my new Vinnie snare drum lmao...

For some reason not a fan of the 14" version. Has a weird overtone to it, to my ears.
