I've done the Top 5 best gold guns, and even looked at the worst gold guns in Overwatch. However, now it's time to look at what are my favorite gold guns in Overwatch!

Ana was my first golden gun and I still love it to this day and have never taken it off. I honestly wish we could mix and match guns and skins but I still love that golden gun.

My fav gold gun is the roadhog ice fisherman. This gold gun is my favorite because of the cool distinction between the wood part of the hook and the gold part. Not only is this my favorite gold gun but it is my favorite gun skin in general. The best part is the anchor hook. Not only is the hook cool and creative but the gun is so phenomenally made. The cool shark teeth on the edge of the gun making, it actually looks like there was a shark or some kind of fish that he hunted and killed. The gills on the side are a nice touch as well because it makes it seem like the gun itself was alive. Hence the teeth.

This concludes my reason for the roadhog Ice Fisherman gold gun being the best in overwatch.

I determine gold guns mostly on the PRIMARY gun. If a character has more than one they will be rated as is but divided by how many guns they have. Say Genji's Sword that is an ult so I rank it as a ult gun which is normally pretty low since you don't notice it that much in game. Or Ana's sleep dart one button press with 1/2 a second of screen time worth next to nothing.

The biggest factor is design of not just the base but the other Legendary skins guns. If the gun stays the mostly same like Mei's, Genji's, Mercy's etc. then thats a terrible gold gun since its the same weapon being sold to you multiple times.

Sombra's guns always look unique even the Los Muertos, Acuzar, and Tulum guns look similar yet still different from the base gun.

Talon is easily the best weapon model change in the game.

Demon Hunter is a crossbow and looks insane with detail.

Bride looks industrial.

Rime looks like an ice variant.

Face Changer is Fancy.

And the Cyberspace and Augmented look futuristic.

All these weapons are treated just as well as the skins they are assigned to. And the gold is the right amount. Its not too much to the point it loses the charm of the weapon. And its not too little to the point it is irrelevant to buy. It is the right amount to make the guns look gold and keep the styles of each weapon.
