I think Goodra was intended to be a bulky pseudo legendary since it has a mounstrous 150 special defense.

The fact that they gave Goodra sap sipper but NOT a secondary water typing is still a robbery to this day.

Assault vest Goodra with sap sipper. Is actually really fun. It has a decent coverage pool and can switch in on a lot of special threats.

Minor error, you used Tyranitars Attack stat as it’s defense stat, its physical defense is 110 not 134.

As much as I love regular Goodra, I had to admit that they did this ‘mon dirty. Hoping the Husuian version will finish what the original started.

This is why I believed they should have given goodra a dragon fairy typing. Makes sense with gen 6 introducing the fairy type and the fact that goodra is inspired by the monstrous snails of mideavel stories. One could consider them fairy tales.

Yeah I really hoping it does reach that status because I love goodra and the change in stats for hisuian fixing that defense to be more solid in exchange for 10 base hp basically is very good as 80 speed is already awkward and making it 60 actually helps with trick room teams too

I remember running Goodra back in 6 Gen, it was a special defensive beast during that time, it’s definitely an underrated Pesudo Mon.

They really needed to make goodra a fairy subtype. Like it was begging for it within that generation as well as with its design.
