Fun fact: Incineroar did not win at the 2024 world championships. This is the first time Incineroar has been legal but hasn’t won worlds since it gained access to its intimidate ability.

To this day, I'm still angry that Goodra wasn't a Dragon/Poison type, when it was introduced in the game that added Fairy Type. What a missed opportunity for a creative and unique Pseudo-Legendary that would have even made sense lorewise having evolved poison-typing as a self-defense against the region's fairy types.

Would it have been better competitively? I have no idea.
Would it have been more interesting than a pure dragon type? Yes.

Man, a Dragon/Fighting type before Gen 6 would have been absolutely broken. Almost perfect coverage.

@11:54 This entire explanation about Dragonite's competitive history is a good example for as to why it should've gotten a mega back in the day. Instead, we got Salamence and Garchomp, which made absolutely no sense for either to get a competitive boost before Dragonite.
