My 2001 ram has a glove box light standard....

The cabin airfilter is behind the glovebox. So the uv light is to kill germs in the interior air flow system, not to illuminate the inside of the glove box. I have uv light in my homes air system, it works but bulbs are expensive ans don't last long. It's a cute feature but will be expensive to maintain.

I paid $.89 for it.
AND my light is green.

I have 2019 Limited that the light stays on always in storage above the glove box. Just not one in the console.
