I use an electric toothbrush with a detachable head. So I leave the toothbrush to charge but leave the Head in the medicine cabinet. I also close the seat all the time before flushing since the pandemic

Not mine because I don't keep mine in the bathroom! Haha I keep it in my room so if anything dust but not poo 😁For this reason I do that and have for years most people keep their brushes near the toilet when it flushes it sprays tiny particles of whatever is in the bowl throughout the air so that makes sense.

I'm curious, why do we need to get a new toothbrush after we've been sick? We've already been exposed to those germs.

Not mine! I always close the lid and even have a sign that says to do so.

I do also keep it in the medicine cabinate, just in case. If I could, nothing would be exposed in the bathroom.

I keep my toothbrush in one of those travel tubes and stored away in my medicine cabinet. I definitely flush with the lid down also. No sh** getting on my brush!

I saw a video a long time ago where when you brush your teeth and poop is on your brush because they left them for an experiment for a day and the poop accumulated over the hours from the bacteria on your teeth. The question to keep your toothbrush clean even if this happens even when your toilet gets involved or over the hours of brushing is to clean your brush with soap and washing it. I clean my brush with soap.
