Traveler said "5 more minutes" then woke up 500 years later 💀

One of them saw the beauty of Tevyat..
The other one saw the devastation of Khaenri'ah..

My theory is that Istraoth woke them up at just the right moment. Just in time to purify Dvalin, Zhongli's fake death, the Loom of Fate project and during the Tsaritsa's plan of collecting the gnosis

*"The Keeper is fading away"*
This line reminds me of Dainsleif, the bough *keeper* whose memory "has all but *faded* completely".

Traveler lore is my favorite thing about genshin. I've rewatched your traveler theory vids wayy too many times😓 its so annoying when ppl say they're boring or have no presonality or that they're MINORS?? when they're so painfully obviously not. Its honestly amazing writing to be able to give a pretty quite character personality and lore and backstory. And i just LOVE aether and traveler and lumine as the abyss princess, i just think it fits them so well

Will certainly be a long journey. But once we get past Fontaine and Natlan, I think things will become more clear. But also more confusing. All in all, traveler will ascend once they get all the elements!

You see, they chose to keep the siblings on Teyvat because they knew that somewhere, in a far off distant world, someone would need them to be there to make a hit game known as Genshin Impact.

So basically when the twins first arrived in teyvat one of the twins woke up first (the abyss sibling) and for some reason decided to not wake up their twin and instead go off alone to explore teyvat. Its unknown how long that time period was but it had to be enough to be familiar with khanria and its people enough to care about them. Supposedly the twin did something to anger celestia which resulted in the extermination of khanria, when the twin saw this they ran to get their sibling who was still asleep, and told them that they had to leave this world immediately. Thats when the first cutscene happens, where they try to escape only to be stopped and seperated by the unkown god. The abyss sibling is then sent down to teyvat without their original powers, to watch khanria get destroyed, while our traveler is sealed away in a sleep filled with endless nightmares, only to wake up 500 years later in a peaceful world. Those 500 years were the abyss siblings journey through teyvat with dain, gaining their original powers back and eventually becoming prince/princess of the abyss. And thats basically the vague timeline of the twins time in teyvat, just for anyone who wants to know. Obviously we know barely anything about them but this is what we know so far, feel free to add more details!

Another thing interesting about the traveller is, in the description of teleport waypoints it says that only the traveller can use them

My only question lies with Venti's voice line and that fact also with the Genshin manga. Venti said, "Ah, Traveler, we meet again! What? You don't remember me?". In the manga, you can see Aether's body behind Venti. We can confirm that it's a couple of years after Vanessa went up to Celestia because in the manga Venti said (to the Aether) " She's still keeping watch over Mondstadt after all these years. Now I wonder if the world became a little bit stronger. She always hoped to see that"

So somewhere the traveler woke up earlier but then somehow lost their memories once again?

Also another thing to add is that Venti absolutely hates Celestia and refuses to go back up there.

Plot Twist: He's just a very heavy sleeper

What if the travelers weren't actually put on stasis.... But instead those cube things worked like matter transporters and instead sent them to different time periods were celestia deemed them to be necessary....?

What if the Traveler was actually wandering around during those 500 years.

I also hope we get to visit the place where Aether and Lumine landed on Teyvat.

I also do think that the Sustainer was going in with killing intent, why spare them when you haven’t spared the others?

The real question is what the hell did traveler and paimon do for like a month before the story began!?

I think three events occurred within a few months of each other that could all be traced to one source.
1. Paimon falls into a lake with no memories.
2. Aether awakens.
3. The Abyss and The Harbingers start making moves against the archons on a scale they haven't in 500 years.

My thinking is that the harbingers, the abyss, both, or perhaps some as-of-yet unknown alien power recently defeated the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. My guess is the Abyss, since it likely happened in or near Mondstadt.
1. The Sustainer survived the attack by turning into a memoryless tiny shade, like Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. This is Paimon.
2. The Sustainer's prisoner, Aether, is released. This might be why the Abyss was attacking in the first place, or she might have just released all her prisoners upon losing her powers.
3. The Sustainer would normally oversee any attempt to steal the divinity within the gnoses, but now that she is gone, the Harbingers can make their various moves.

So I think that is the big twist that explains why everything is happening now. The Sustainer is already defeated, and likely all that is left of her is Paimon.

For aesthetic purposes, the English version differs from the Chinese text.
The original CN text:
Literal translation: The sustainer is passing away; the creator has not yet come. But the world shall burn no more, for you shall ascend to the seat of "the god."

2:10 that's also what I had in mind... "the threads of fate will be yours to reweave", I think Dain says a similar thing in the Travail video. Most people think "by default" that the twins will move on to another world after they've explored Teyvat, but before we need to find out whether they really came from another world in the first place... or was that world the ancient Teyvat.

0:03 I think Paimon is the most mysterious one. She just came lut of the sea one day and started following us

traveler's original swords looks cool.
i hope they added it to the game later.

Maybe it is similar to the reason the Traveler was able to find Ei and her puppet fighting again, the way they described it was like they were supposed to be there at the perfect moment or something
