Guam Kingfisher Chick Feeding

Our Guam kingfisher chick is growing with each gulp! When keepers hand-feed the chick, they place food in the back of his throat, just like its parents would do, to help him swallow the food. They then watch to make sure he gets every bit down before offering him more.
