Music writers dont utilize bass clarinet. I say this as a very biased bass clarinetist but its also true. Give us the melody. And not freakishly high. Give us a beautiful low rich melody. The sound of the bass clarinet is so rich and full. I will forever love my instrument

I’m a bass clarinet now playing in my concert band. Rn we have a piece called Sinfonia Nobilissima and it sounds so good. Bass clarinet rlly brings out the low notes in that song too
