Before we found out about the movie my friends and I were playing this on our paddle boards! 😂

Seriously -being knocked off one by one in a raft by sharks is not a way to spend your vacation....

Here is a list of things that was done wrong coming from someone with common sense not even a sailor...
1) Don't trust a drunk with the radio
2) Don't aboard a boat with a drunk..
2) As soon as you see a storm they should have been on the radio..
2) Have a better lifeboat ( one that is equipped with water and food for emergency, they even have some with a signal to send for rescue)
3) everyone on board should have put on their life jackets
4) lock all the cupboards/stove and stay in the cabin for safety ( so the dishes/knives/stove etc...does not cause any unnecessary injuries!)
5) there are sewing kits on boats...they should have fixed her wound.
6) get into the lifeboat to get dry ( not stay in the water)
7) they should have pushed the drunk off the lifeboat as soon as he was being reckless lol

Ive notice so much more...but you get my point!
I personally think they were all drunk!

Just finished watching this movie and I gotta say it was pretty good. Watched the episode of I Shouldn't Be Alive as well which was equally as good

Possible spoiler warning: Haven’t seen the movie, but I saw a lot of comments I thought could use some answers, the real people it’s based on did have a decent life boat and it was equipped with everything they would need to survive, but one of the guys got separated from it and then they couldn’t get back to it due to the storm and waves, so they were left with just the little one. And again not seen the movie, but the real reason they didn’t get in the raft right away was because the wind from the storm was extremely cold and they were warmer in the water, they even huddled under the boat for more warmth and protection from the wind but it got too hard to breathe and that’s when they decided to flip it over and get in, that was also when they realized there was sharks. The movie might be different though.

Josh Duhamel has a gorgeous voice and a gorgeous everything else. Also he is well over 6ft tall which is nice as tall men seem to be a diminishing breed. ❤️💚❤️

Thought this was pretty good watching it last night... Felt their fear and sadness. Really like how they ended it also. Showing the real people.

I recommend "The Reef" which is also inspired by a true story.

My grandparents' boat capsized in a storm, and they managed to turn it back around. If I remember how they did it, I'll add that.

Look, Jaws is still the very best shark movie. And having watched my 5th Sharkfest, you learn that Sharks are ambush creatures. So keep your head, stand your ground, and you'll be fine.
As for this movie, turn the damn rubber boat over, let the guys help the girls in the boat, then the girls can help the guys in. But if you lose your head and panic you'll definitely lose your life. Ronda Rousy handled herself with several sharks. Look at all these actors swimming with sharks. Not one has been eaten or even bitten.

My friend is the sister of the young man who died. The family was not notified of this and saw it be accident. They are really upset that this is being broadcast without notice.
