Q. What software do you use?
A. Simon's Cat is made using Adobe Flash / TV Paint animation software.

Q. Why does it take so long to make each Simon's Cat film?
A. Even though the films are made on computer software, they are still hand-animated in a traditional manner, frame to frame. It usually takes between 12 and 25 drawings to create 1 second of a Simon's Cat film.

Here at The House of "M" we call it the 'Zoomies'. And now that we have 3 seniors, we have 'Senior Zoomies'- which usually end up in hisses because someone is cranky now that they are an old lady....(but we won't say Mystick's name) and because our 18.5 yr old man Magick's blind we also have 'Blind Zoomies' which means we can't rearrange anything or else he gets all discombobulated and gets 'stuck' in corners and underneath couches and howls for help. The older chubby girl Medea has her Zoomies too and is surprisingly spry! The two young boys, Grimm and Sunny MacKenzie just leap over the old ones if they get in the way--so it can be a flying circus if everyone is coordinated!
