This is a great way of looking at triggers, using 1, 2, 3, 4 as variations on letter triggers. Thank you for this tutorial.

if you set up all right arm motions to take place under the 1 variations and all left arm motions to happen under the 2, would you need to retype the number every time? 
Or is this something that also latches? 

Ex: your character is doing a number of right arm motions so you type 1 once and then your various letters vs hitting 1 and then the letter each time
