Removing Trim (Do This First!)

Removing Trim (Do This First!) In this video, we'll show you how to remove trim (baseboards, casings, chair rails, etc.) without damaging the wall. All it takes is this one quick and easy step!

Unless you're a stunt driver, or moonwalking- going backwards just isn't cool. Thats why we're here to remind you to grab a knife and score the edges of any mouldings or trim, before you attempt to remove them.
...
Why, you ask? We'll, if you dont, you'll likely pull off just as much wall as you will anything else. That means filling, sanding, priming and painting JUST to get back to where you started! Sound like fun? We didn't think so.

Great video - especially on what happens if not following your method.

This may sound like a silly question, but what tools did you use. I am going to attempt this on my own but dont know what i need.

I should have watched this video before removing mine... Do you have a video explaining how to repair the wall if some pieces came off?

What if the trim was glued. My crown molding is like the video but it was glued and not nailed.
