As someone who honestly gives people stuff you should believe it until they seem sketchy. When I give a boat supplies I have it all in storage crates before I approach anyone. Generally though I just leave them on the outpost as I don't want to sail to others.

If I’m being chased I just leave the server and join a new one if I’m trying to complete tasks or voyages 😂

Had an odd one today. While solo slooping, a brig started chasing me from reapers to golden sands(yes I still call it that and probably always will). I raise my sails on the other side while I figure out what they're doing. Because I wasnt thinking right, I start to fire shots before getting my sails up. I miss a few chain shots because I'm not very good, take down one of their masts, then hit a few cannon shots before I hear a massive explosion. They had kegs on board. I sword dashed off my ship to secure the sink but they were already done. I stay in the water for a short minute to make sure they don't backspawn but then realize that they're probably trying to keg my ship as well. Sure enough I hear another explosion and see my mast drop. Knowing I don't have much chance of saving it, because I thought it sounded like a mega keg, I stay in the water and look for the last guy. After a brief fight and him trying to sword dash me in the water from several yards away, I kill him, realize my boats not sunk yet, get up and save it before it even gets to second deck. Guy just placed the keg horribly. Always put the kegs in the front next to the barrel you can sit on. That way you get the mast and all 4 holes are lower deck

i know the feeling of those poor souls. I legit like giving whatever supplies i have left to other people before i log off. If they want to sink me, its fine i guess, but i'd prefer a friendly end, but since i'm logging off anyway it doesnt much matter i suppose, but i'd feel bad if those supplies were just left to sink.

Me and my friends were playing sea of thieves and one of them tried to do the skull of siren song without permission because they all needed permission because it was my galleon
