Hey guys, question. How does the DMV determine weight stickers issuance? My truck has a gvwr of 11k lbs and a maximum tow rating of 14400 lbs. My trailer has a gvwr of 23999 lbs. Shouldn't my weight sticker be between 25k+ or between 20-26k on their sliding scale? I was given a 20k sticker, and this seems wrong. Do you guys know who I could talk to at a particular DMV in Northern California that knows about Hotshot setups? I need to get the correct sticker for my truck set up. Any ideas would help thank you!
