It has a very safe environment, warm and friendly people, many different charming cities, countless kinds of delicacies and beautiful natural scenery. China is a treasure for all travel lovers.

Actually Shanghai Tower is much taller compared to Medeka Tower in Kuala Lumpur if you're not going to include the spire of the Medeka. In fact, Shanghai Tower has the highest view deck platform in the World, higher than even Burj Khalifa.

I am from Europe and I live in China for five years now. I recommend anyone from the west to visit China and come in contact with the super friendly people, super divers and beautiful landscapes and most importantly the best food in the world (by far). Make sure you know a few words in Chinese to make your experience even better.

I've visited public parks in Shanghai and was amazed at how clean they look. No litter or graffiti anywhere... even the skateboard rink looks clean. And there are lots of people out there enjoying the parks... but seem to have respect for the facilities there.

Not just Shanghai. I was IN Chengdu. And I was surprised how modern, advanced, clean, and organized it was. 20 million people live there, btw.

The reason why Shanghai doesn't feel like a megacity is because it's built under a different philosophy than NYC or Tokyo. In Shanghai we have very high density residential complexes, which in terms allows the non-residential areas to be more open. Also, a big signature of Chinese cities is that we do our best to make sure every street has trees, no matter how downtown it is. As a Shanghainess myself I'm a bit sad how underrepresented our kind of megacities are in pop cultures, since, in my humble opinion, it's a better kind of cities.

China is a vast and diverse country, and there are imperceptible differences in culture, food, language, climate, etc. in various places. They have fast-moving, buzzing modern cities like Shanghai, but also places full of natural beauties like Guilin, or ancient imperial capitals with numerous historical relics like Xi-An. It's impossible to get a sense of what China is really like from a 20-minute clip.

I really want to visit China, hopely one day I can afford it. I am curious because so much negativity about China here in Europe. There is bad and good in a country, It can't be always bad. Nothing is perfect. Enjoy your trip!

That drink is called coconut milk(ye zhi in Chinese), which is a very popular drink in China. Children's favourite. Recently, I heard that the Chinese government has opened a 30-day visa-free entry policy for Germany. I hope you can visit more attractions and cities next time. China has a long cultural and abundant historical heritage, as well as beautiful mountains and plateaus, which are definitely worth exploring more. I recommend Suzhou and Xi'an. In Suzhou, you can see the ancient graceful southern Chinese towns and gardens. Xi'an is the ancient capital of 13 dynasties in China, with a history of 3, 000 years. There are many historical sites there. You will feel as if you have travelled back to ancient times, and the nearby Huashan Mountain is also worth visiting, with beautiful mountain scenery and dangerous cliffs. In addition, China's high-speed rail system is very developed. You can use Ctrips to book train tickets and get to any city in China.Anyway welcome you Ken😊

Shanghai(or China in general) is 10 years ahead of anywhere else in the world in terms of technology usage. And unlike many other mega-cities, China is very safe, open, clean, and generally well-organized. Amazing how they have managed such a huge population so well.

Thanks for sharing. I did the same as you on my trip to Shanghai last month. Rode bike and went to pudong lu jia zui to check out those buildings. Transportation in Shanghai or china is super cheap. German cars in Shanghai all made in China, there's Volkswagen factory near Shanghai I used to have a friend who worked there as expatriates told me about the vehicles in China. Looking forward to your next video in Shanghai.
