Why asphalt and sky on samples have so many jpeg artifacts? Is it byproduct of youtube compression or it's how this cam recording?

Hi I've heard you can upload to any video editing software, is this true? I have the insta go 1, with an android phone and just couldn't make their app work at all, gave up eventually.
