I didn't mention it in the video but it's worth noting the DM-101 has an analog signal path that is digitally controlled. 8 BBD chips doing the heavy lifting, no wonder it sounds so good!

A lot of YouTubers also thought this was a digital unit which says a lot about how well Boss’s engineering team designed this fabulous analog pedal. Amazing playing as always!

BOSS has been killing it with the delays lately.

The DM-101 isn't entirely digital - it actually utilizes 8 BBD chips in tandem with CPU tech, hence making it a monster of a hybrid pedal. I acquired a Delay Llama Xtreme by JAM Pedals today and the DM-101 is the perfect alternative/competitor to that pedal. Incredible engineering going on these days in the music world!

In 12:00 you played such a cool melody, I fell Asleep while listening and i dreamed about a purple woman. When it started oscillating and fading away I woke up

Oooo, this is fascinating. I’d been “sure” that I wanted to save for the Suhr Discovery as a MIDI capable analog delay, but a new challenger has appeared. If you wind up with both pedals, I’d love to see how their tones compare and where their functionality differs.

More ROCK FACE in the intro than all of the 80s and 90s combined! Like it. 🙂

Just looking at the DM-101 it reminds me of Chorus CE-1 so I have a feeling it is coming, long awaited....

Hello Leon, it looks like the model designation is the Boss DM-101 (not DM-100). And oh heck, that Doubling Delay sounded EPIC !!!

Thanks Leon, great demo. I haven't seen any other videos about this amongst my many guitar-related YouTube subscriptions, I think you got the scoop here!

Yes a CE-1 reissue would be awesome. But, there's a CE-1 mode in the CE-2w. I wonder if that could steer them toward reissuing other past products. Someone else mentioned the SRE-555. Looks good to me!

I absolutely love boss gear. I still use a ME-50 processor hooked into a bunch of awesome pedals . I use it as sort of a master control, and can always boost the signal with it. This looks similar just in how it is arranged. I’m sure it’s a killer delay.

Thanks for the Demo Leon! "Modern" sounds like Deluxe Memory Man to me and seems to be my fav out of all the modes...

Nice demo of what seems to be a fantastic pedal. I'm not sure they "modelled" the BBD noise. This thing actually has 8 BBD chips. They just didn't filter it out...which is great!

The live version of By Tor and the Snow Dog has to be the coolest delay in a live setting of all time.
