Great to see bare bones restoration of old school set ups Scotty. There's a real beauty to it. People with heated seats don't know what they're missing!

Saved this vid until the end of my last shift so I can enjoy a few lockdown beers while watching it. I made it 2 weeks into dry July but Gladys saw fit to me returning to the bottle...

Those Yellow HD Ultimas looks good Scott. Top Technique using the packaging strap to hold it compressed until you are ready to release it.
That is a Top tip about Rubber pacific grease.
So funny, how many brake caliper sliders are ruined with incorrect incompatible grease used, around the rubber parts.
Don't worry there is always another event around the corner.

there is a light at the end of the tunnel as they say, now all the good stuff to come, must be a big relief to see that light

The first job I seriously ever did on a car as an 8 year old was to the brakes (under supervision of course) on my neighbour's Vals. Dad & my neighbour taught me the same way as you used here Scotty so it brought back a ton of memories for me. I remember my mum going off at my dad when I was first covered in grease. As an 8 year old back then it was a ton of fun.
The only thing missing was the ton of swearing that went with it. That was when I first started swearing.
Another good video Scotty, I hope you, your family & the staff at SM get through these confinement times.

Thanks for another great video scotty and kian. Good to see the side cutters used on the split pins, maybe a g clamp on the brake pistons, instead of the hammer. Can’t wait for the shed skid. You should get a grease needle for a Milwauke grease gun, for those bloody wheel bearings
