How To Make Any Switch a 3 Way Switch Without Any Additional Wiring!

In this video I show you a hack that an electrician friend told me about to turn any standard switch into a "3 way switch" by adding a light switch anywhere you want. It is done by installing the Lutron Caseta Wireless Dimmer Kit. There is no extra wiring needed to be run for the second switch. Running wire can be a pain, especially if there is no attic access. With this method a second light switch can be installed in minutes.

I already have two 3 way switches but want to make it a 4 way switch to control from 3 locations. How exactly would I do that? One Caseta wired and two wireless? Or two wired and one wireless? If it’s 2 wireless would I just cap off the 2nd existing wired switch?

Hmm.. Thinking I could install one of these switches in my garage and stick the remote in my car so I could switch the garage lights on when I arrive and off when I leave. Could do the same with the exterior lights as well!!

The second switch must use battery in order for it to operate.
Do you know how often do you have to change the battery ?
