hi chef here be extremely careful when foraging for wild garlic as without seeing the flowers its identical to lily of the valley which is very poisonous. be safe out there people

In Germany the wild garlic is called 'Bärlauch' and I pick it every other day during season near my house. When I use it, I never put normal garlic in the dish and it's still flavourful but without the typical garlic breath!

We have this in West Michigan. They're called wild ramps. We have a ton in our woods and I forage in different spots every year. I pickle the bulbs, have deep fried them, roasted them with other veggies. I have made a ramp compound butter and ramp pesto. They are soo good!!
