Snowboarding The MOST EXPENSIVE SKI TOWN In AMERICA | Aspen, CO (OVERPRICED?)

We started our trip in snowmass village where we will be staying the rest of the trip. In this video we snowboarded Snowmass and home of the X-Games Buttermilk mountains, but there are four mountains in total that includes aspen mountain (AJAX) and Highlands. With the Aspen lift pass you have access to all four mountains making it a great value.
Aspen has many fine dining and nightlife options. In this video we explored the Historic Hotel Jerome, the speakeasy Bad Harriet, Escobar, the Sterling, and the aspen brewing company. Born and raised in aspen Colorado. I appreciate you not just strictly trashing the town and actually giving it a chance unlike every other ski YouTube channel. It’s expensive for sure but so is every other ski town. And it’s owned by epic or icon/ vail ski reports. So it may be slightly more expensive but it’s way less busy and you get 10x the amount of runs in a day compared to anywhere else in the Rockies with their 1+ lift lines. You will never see that in aspen even on the busiest days. As far as your flight goes 😂😂😂😂 brother it’s a 50/50 chance every flight get delayed or cancelled. And very cool you went to the hotel Jerome. My father was the chef there for 30+ years😂
Edit: need to work on where you went out at night. Escobar and sterling are two of the worst places in aspen. Shame on whoever told you that was good nightlife 😂😂

I skied at Aspen in 1956. Lift tickets were $5 a day. The rich have spoiled many ski areas.

I grew up skiing The Aspen Valley. Aspen Valley offers the Premier skiing for beginners with a great trails to true veterans with hundred of Acres of backcountry.
I used to get a season pass for 400 bucks in high school. Haven’t been able to shred in two years due to the price increase in season passes/day passes

There’s plenty of alternatives for lodging and transportation! You don’t need to stay in Snowmass to live like a true local. There’s plenty of homey towns to choose from where you’re bound to run into the magic of Colorado’s hospitality.

1 Beer 1 cocktail 1 French Dip 1 chicken breast sandwich $103….Lunch at the White House Tavern….Snowmass is Big, wide open, and fun…Ajax is pretty tight skiing..tight meaning condensed…Buttermilk is a nothing burger…Highlands has a nice hike. Overall…the attitude of the employees on the hill was great…most of the visitors though were of low talent and high entitlement…the locals at snowmass were cool. But….I’ll take a week splitting time between Copper and A-Basin though…guess iam just a cheap o.g. no cowboy hat kinda guy.
