Apple iPhone 6 VoiceOver is ON but screen is OFF or blank or does not say what each icon is

VoiceOver screen is blank but it's on. Quick video on some steps you can take if you use voiceover but some options not working. Turn the Shade back on.

Thank you! I had turned on voice over for someone (to read a book out loud) and they brought their phone back to me with a black screen and I about cried. I finally told Siri (that harlot) to turn voiceover off, but you have a solution that makes sense. Thank you, thank you. I envisioned hours spent at the apple store with someone else's junk. Thank you! Additionally you scroll by swiping three fingers and you type/ open app by tapping the number or app once (there will be a little box around it to show you've selected it) then double tapping it to enter the number or open the app. Hope I helped :)

Man!. You have greater knowledge than total apple genius bar. They tried to rob me with saying it is hardware problem and mainboard should be replaced.
