Favorite Paper Trimmer: Fiskars Surecut Deluxe Paper Trimmer

Comparison of the Basic Fiskars Paper Cutter and the larger Deluxe version with wire guide. I've used this Fiskars' Deluxe Surecut Paper Trimmer for over a year and have never had any problems with the wire fraying. It's my favorite paper trimmer of all time, and I've tried quite a few! It's got a nice large 6" x 12" deck which is big enough to not have to pull out the extension arm very often, but compact enough for easy storage.

I'm in the UK and have just bought the larger of these two cutters as I only have a teeny tiny one and I love it. I got the titanium blades on ebay. 2 new packs of 2. The blade is titanium coated and three times stronger.

this was extremely useful! I don't know why they designed that pull out arm at all, it is not usable. I think your larger one meet my needs, but I want to find one that folds out to 12 x 12 which was a Fiskars one I owned previously. It was marketed as "you never need to change the blade because it self sharpens!" except that the blade collected a bunch of paper residue and there was no way for me to take it out just to clean it. Anyway it ripped a bunch of papers so I had to return it. The black one that I got to replace the well-designed one is just like the one you complained about in the video, but it doesn't even show where the 4 inch mark is :(

This looks amazing! But I am looking for one that has a "wavy" cutting blade. Does Fiskars offer a rotary blade that has fancy edges? I am searching the internet, but to no avail. LOL Thanks for the neat video.

Hi, Does this trimmer cut a paper that is 12x12. When you extend the arm does it cover up the numbers and you have to make the marks on it again? Thank you
