I have the smaller one to that but I could never get a good straight cut with it. I still use it for the same thing cutting small sentiments. But my Cricut trimmer is great. With that said I did get the Tim holts guillotine trimmer and I am in love with it.

2 years later that's the same paper cutter that I was debating on getting. I came on YouTube to see reviews and yours was the first one that I clicked on. Immediately wet and bought the cutter 😂.

I just wish you could have the scoring blade on there with the cutting blade because I score all my cards, boxes, etc

I have had one for years and I’ve always used it but find more and more lately it’s not cutting the paper straight. The new blades seem to get dull much quicker than they used to.

Love mine, too. If the wire frays as mine did, call the company and they will replace the wire guide Free, and you will get it in a few days. It was a bugger removing the old mechanism ( a friend with strong hands did it for me and put in the new one, also). Info is googled for phone# .There is a short video for the how to on line. I think that cutting magnetic sheets was the killer of the wire. Someone said they cut theirs with the Fiskars and I gave it a try. Yes it did cut them nicely but killed the blade.

I love all fiskars trimmers- and yes the wire frayed - BUT fiskars sent me a new wire - they are great to deal with!!! I have 6 fiskars - two this style and 4 grey - I share with my club :) and kids

I think the cost of the blades is pretty outrageous, but the convenience is nice. I only hope that 3rd parties will develop blades.

I have a Fiskars trimmer with the wire guide, too. But mine has the arm that swings out for anything over 3 inches. I love it! I’ve toyed with getting the Tonic guillotine trimmer everyone uses, but I’m not convinced I need it.

The only problem with it is it won’t cut more then one sheet.

does the wire need replacing, does it break? I heard it does but you would know best as you own one, Also how are the blades, I bought a stamping up paper trimmer, got burnt having to replace the costy blades so often also the cutting trac replace ment. thank you

I’d like to respectfully disagree, I’ve had two and think they are garbage. I simply adore my cutterpillar and wouldn’t trade it for anything.
