I disagree that 10 bit 422 is only for color effects.
I use FX30 and always record video with these parameters.
I don't always hit the white balance and exposure compensation.
And it is these parameters that give you room for corrections - for example, when you enter a space illuminated by yellow light and you don't have time to weigh the white light.
No, you can't do magic with it, but you can move it to much nicer colors without it falling apart.

Because of the ibis I'm considering A6700 now. But the thing is, I always shoot videos with a tripod so I guess I'm getting the zve10 ii. Oh my! I don't know which one to get. Hahahahaha

Why are people so obsessed with IBIS...it doesn't help much for video. The active stabilization is much, much better. Active looks like a gimbal. IBIS just looks very slightly less shakey, but still extremely shakey. Ya'll act like active is a bad thing. You're supposed to do it correctly and carefully in post, then you don't get all the cropping.

It's not like IBIS avoids the issue, you still need a gimbal. If you want to do active with an IBIS camera, you have to shut IBIS off anyway.

IBIS is a photography feature, not a video feature. It does a similar amount of stabilization to OSS. It is nowhere near enough to film while walking.

Not having IBIS is too much of a dealbreaker to me as well. Was on the fence of buying the a6700 or the ZV-E10II, but waited for the official specs. Long story short, just ordered the a6700!

Bingo. IBIS was the main thing that was expected from Mark II as the more expensive cameras were getting it. Without IBIS, this is just a casual refresh that doesn't justify the added price. Almost half of the Mark I price added on top just for the 10-bit colour and 4k60 and the new UI that SHOULD BE BACKPORTED TO OLDER DEVICES as a software update. For a customer, I recommend Mark I or 6700.

The Sony A6500 and 16-50mm lens is a better choice for performance and money. I love my A6500 and I have owned many, many cameras. High-end and consumer cameras.

It's as easy as this: you get an affordable zve10 mark 1, or a capable a6700.

Are IBIS and OSS really useful for walking/vlog videos? My fx30 is unusable for walking video hand-held anyway. My zv-e1 with electronic stab is better (even if stll far from an acrtion camera stab)
