"Transgenderism" is a very vague label for an ideological position the contours of which are poorly defined. The only thing people clearly agree with is that you DO NOT make this part of the public school curriculum before senior year in high school. Concentrate on anti-bullying. Every child should feel welcome in public school.

Let's not be intentionally dense. When you refer to eradicating transgenderism, it refers to the idealogy, not the individuals. It starts with making sure children are not chemically castrated or surgically mutilated.

There is a massive difference between allowing children to make a permanent, life altering decision which will result in their sterilization starting as young as 10 years old, and letting adults make their own decisions once they are able to consent to these procedures.

Nobody of importance wants to stop adults from getting plastic surgery. Women not having to change in front of and compete against men is not genocide. Not imprisoning women with men which is against the Hague convention is not genocide. Not telling children they need to change their bodies in order to self actualize is not genocide. Bri, I'm sorry, but there's a distinction that we should make: Lott said "ban transgenderism" not "gender dysphoria" or "transgender people". OP was very careful with the words used, and was referring to the increasing tendency in the West to use gender as a concept to disrupt society, especially womanhood and women's rights.
