Ukraine, Russia accuse each other of planning attack on Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant

Ukraine's president is accusing Russia of planting installing explosives at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant.
Moscow in turn, has said claimed Kyiv is planning to attack the facility.
Russia took over - what is Europe's largest nuclear facility - in the days after the invasion of Ukraine in February last year.
Since then, each side has regularly accused the other of shelling near the plant, and risking a nuclear disaster.

If Russia already icontrolling the nuclear plant why they have to attack it ? If Russia want to do something they could do it before or NOW and no need to attack, so its nonsense to say that Russia is attacking, who can attack is who is out of the control of the nuclear plant of Zaborishia and that is Ukraine 💯✅

A nuclear disaster is the last thing the world needs. This would be a global catastrophe, obviously! No leader in their right mind should consider damaging the Zaporizhzhia plant. The short term and long term impact to both Ukraine and Russia would be catastrophic. The Black Sea, prevailing weather will have serious and immediate impact on surrounding Europe. Long term global food shortages, economic disaster. The true gravity of such a purposeful disaster is obviously severely underestimated, and not understood by a significant part of the world population.

The answer is simple: make the plant a neutral zone as suggested.

Ukrainian officials have told lies about the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant before. The head of Ukraine's military intelligence, Kirill Budanov, said in June that Russia had mined a cooling pond, and Zelensky repeated his words. But the IAEA refuted their words in a report on June 21, the cooling pond was not mined. On July 2, IAEA director Rafael Grossi, in an interview with a French channel, once again said that Zelensky's statements about mining a cooling pond are not true. Now Zelensky is saying that Russia wants to blow up the roof of the nuclear plant to simulate an attack by Ukrainian missiles or drones, Russia says that perhaps Ukraine is going to attack the nuclear plant with missiles with radioactive materials from other Ukrainian nuclear plants, then Ukraine will blame Russia for the explosion at the nuclear plant.
