Today I’m going to cover the benefits of lactobacillus. Lactobacillus is a common microbe that lives inside and on your body. These friendly bacteria actually do many things for the body.

Friendly bacteria can do many things, including:
• Make vitamins
• Decrease pathogens
• Decrease inflammation
• Convert fat into small-chain fatty acids
• Protect the immune system

Lactobacillus is used to help with:
• IBS
• Colic
• Intestinal inflammation
• Gastritis and stomach pain
• Hay fever
• Allergies
• Candida
• Liver disease
• Gallbladder problems
• Constipation
• Diarrhea
• Arthritis
• C. diff
• Vaginal yeast
• UTI

Sources of lactobacillus:
• Fermented dairy products
• Fermented vegetables

You can also take a good non-dairy probiotic supplement that includes lactobacillus, like the one I’ve created called “Friendly Bacteria Probiotic.”

My probiotic supplement contains 12 strains, including several strains of lactobacillus. This product is unique in that it contains a lot of individual microbes that live together in a small ecosystem. There are some really cool advantages to this rather than growing the bacteria individually and then combining them like many other products do.

The microbes in this product are strong, resilient, and very stable at wide temperatures and pH levels. They can also survive the stomach pH.

You would want to take a half cap a day right before bed. You can mix it with a small amount of water. You can go up to a full cap, depending on how you feel. You may need to start small and gradually work your way up to a full cap, especially if you feel fatigued after taking a full cap.

I share this with my military veteran brothers and sister dealing with PTSD and anxiety issues. What most people do not know is that serotonin receptors are created in the gut before they get up to the brain. This is vital to sleep and mood stability. Maintenance of the gut is vital to good and stable mental health.

I take two table spoons of raw minced garlic every day followed by saurkrout and kefir. Little changes in my diet helped tremendously

I can’t tell you how satisfying fermentation of fruit and vegetables is, especially ones you grew from scratch

Some urinary infections can be easily healed by drinking yogurt and water. Sometimes there is no need for antibiotics which can affect the entire system.

Great channel. Really refreshing hearing about what minerals and vitamins actually do and what issues arise when you are depleted of them.

I read some medical research papers, on LA-14 a specific strain (anti-inflammatory/Liver disease reversal). I have major issues of a toxic body, all the symptoms and malnutrition. I have taken all the probiotics, even the expensive. Nothing worked until I TOOK LA-14 BY ITSELF, THIS IS KEY. Hope it helps, good luck.

I consume 1-2 cups of homemade milk kefir every day. So, I'm full of lactobacillus!

Just FYI- if the veggie has been heated (cooked) and has vinegar in it, it is NOT a fermentation. Pickles as we typically know them, are not fermented. Commercial ferments will be refrigerated. I just started my own saurky night!

We ferment our own kraut, kefir and kombucha but I'm always looking for extra friends to add in the community. One thing I might try is add these to the next fermenting project to see how they do (like I would use a whey starter, etc)
