PS Just a couple of months ago I was declared completely recovered from colon cancer, and It was a very advanced one.

Tissue biopsy's are taken during the time of surgery. Sometimes it takes one to two weeks of tests to come back from the lab. I believe this was the same for the King. It is not unusual by any means.
