I have seen pictures of the Pillars of Creation many times, but until now I hadn't known its position. As I see now, it is near the center of the Milky Way (as it is seen from Earth). Thank you for the video!

It looks so magical, like an illustration from a fantasy book, yet it's all real and happening in our universe....😍🤯

From the first time I saw a photograph of these Pillars, I fell in love with them, it is the most fantastic thing I have seen, and there is much to see in the Universe.

I remember seeing these in a textbook meant to enhance ones reading skills when I was a child and I think that’s when I fell in love with the space

The spire formation on the left of the Pillars of Creation is almost 10 light years long. That amounts to 55 trillion miles. If we were to travel 24, 000 mph, it would take around 2.3 billion years to travel the whole distance.

I don’t know why, something so eerie about it, yet so peaceful.

Years ago I read that each pillar is over 4 light-years in length from base to tip. Light-years!

It is beyond mind numbing how MANY stars there in our one little galaxy.
It's insane....you can zoom into a teeny tiny piece of it...and the image is just littered with stars.
What looks like dust....or like someone used a toothbrush to splatter tiny drops of paint....every single point is a damn star.
And we're going around just ONE of those pin pricks of light. Absolutely unreal.... And this is just ONE galaxy.

We need more of these. Explain what it is, how big, why it is looking like this. This sort of content sparks future scientists!!

Creation: the correct term to define the existence of the universe.

I'm looking into an image and I expect it to be low quality when it zoomed in, but no it just keeps going and going and going and getting even more high quality as it zoomed. HOW

The fact that the Pillars don't exist anymore is astonishing!
