Inventor 2019.2 What's New

The Inventor 2019.2 release contains multiple customer requested enhancements.

It would be great if Inventor could add the function section analysis. It's very useful to see through different parts when it's hatched at least if you know technical drawings rules or mechanical drawings rules. It feels more natural when you can easily recognize the different parts. Please at least tell us where we can download that file

It would be great if you could add the function "section analysis" that has Fusion 360. And also allow the solid to be hatch when it is sectioned (I did not find the file that you used)

Where is the file??? I want to make that cross section (hatched, just like in fusion 360) it's easier to see the different solids and their interference

Biggest UI annoyance continues to be the bizarre behavior of the Connexion 3d mouse. Having the point of zoom and rotation be at the mouse cursor would be give a more fluid UI. Try navigating a large assembly with a Connexion 3d mouse in SolidWorks and compare it to the experience in Inventor (or Fusion) to make the suggestion clear. It's possible to assign a button to select look-at point but this is awkward because it's not as quick or general as move the mouse. E.g., the look-at point method requires a point to exist while using the mouse cursor does not.

I don't add bolts and nuts anymore. Since it loses the link when you open the assembly model after a while. Then you have to resolve the links or replace the bolts and nuts. Supper annoying.
