is it supposed to be a bit difficult with a deering goodtime banjo. its hard to fit it under the bracket/ Yall need to do one with a deering. the brackets on those ones are reaalllly tight

I find that if I run the strap on the pot it kills the sound. I run under the first and last hooks and outside all the rest. Sounded like poop with that strap touching the pot.

I’m new to the banjo scene but might it be better to go under the tailpiece? Only thinking that the strap on top of the tailpiece could knock the banjo out of tune.
