I'm Venezuelan and Armenian, and I have to say that yeah, people from here can be really really classist and racists tbh.

They talk smack about us being racist to them because we don't let them into the country but yet are just as racist as us, I am a Mexican born in the US, but to them I am not considered Mexican. They pick on people and talk crap about people from other towns and the countries beneath them and discriminate against native Indian people.

Latina working with Arabic People in Miami and still don’t know why they hate me so much if they already pay me less than everybody and even though I do my job …And the worst things is that I am from Barranquilla 😅Colombia, my city is full Arabic people, even our major is Árabe and even Shakira ❤ and also the others Latinos in the team doesn’t help too much…What’s wrong with this world people 😅

I am Mexican and my experience with my family is quite similar. When my sister or my sister in law gave birth to their children, my mom was happy because they were born white. If this happened on the contrary, my mom would have been disappointed or frustrated. This is my experience, of course not all Latinos are racist, but as in every country there are good and bad people.

A onetime boss I had at a catering company in NYC was Argentinian and she was hilarious but literally the most openly outspokenly racist person I’ve ever met!!

the Venezuela thing is also true for the Caribbean and Central/South America. those three regions cultures’ are all interconnected which is why their communities are much closer to one another in the US

Black American, married to an eastern European woman here. Never had an issue with skin color in poland.

In latin america, white skin is often associated with high class. I was discriminated against in restaurants and other places til they found out i was American. The same with relationships. When they found that im originally from los Angeles latino parents rolled out the red carpet.

Happy Friday, Marina ❤ Hope you're having a great week. As a latino myself, I would say that not all latinos are racist but it all depends on the person. The black 🖤 dress looks great on you, you go girl 🔥

A 12 year old girl called me an animal and a 28 year old boy called me a cow. Both Arabs.
Only two times I have felt racism in Australia.

As a Black American with a half-Mexican father, I've felt less racism in Mexico than I did in the US(Im also from TX btw). I think people were more or less confused/surprised by my combination of golden brown skin, curly hair and green eyes...so maybe ppl didnt really know how to categorize me🤔

The counties he mentioned, the racism is more in the social interactions. Racism in the US is more insidious. It's in it's institutions, policies and law enforcement. Then you're gas lighted when trying to point it out. But there's plenty of "in your face" racism as well.

I don’t know if it’s the least racist, but I do know it’s racist, it’s just in the shadows sorta speak. I’m Puerto Rican and strangely enough I’ve seen how Latinos can be more racists than even some white people. Seen it in some Indians, and I mean from India, not native Americans, even though they’re skin is black and their accent is foreign, some of them think they’re from here, it’s quite strange if you ask me. Now I’ve seen some white people being passive aggressive on me, and on others, it’s like they can’t help it, they have to make themselves feel superior to others. Knowing what I know about history I’ve come to the conclusion they have that stuff in their blood, they have to every once in a while try to make themselves feel better by being racist to others, thats how a lot of them are, unfortunately.
